Legal registration date: April 23rd, 2003, before the Venezuelan Legal and Academic Authorities. 

The Sathya Sai Trust of Venezuela is the entity, which sponsors and is in charge of the administration of the Institute.

ISSEVHVEN Diploma Course: 

Planned only for professional accredited educators, sponsored by the Sathya Sai Institute of Education in Human Values of Venezuela as an independent educative institute and officially endorsed by the Venezuelan Ministry of Education, through a highly prestigious national university, “Universidad Pedagogica El Libertador” (UPEL), with National and International accreditation. It will start on June 23rd, 2003; and the program is absolutely free of charge. Scholarship is to be imparted each Saturday from 7 AM to 5 PM and the educational training is to be performed in the Adopted Schools. 

Academically, it is conformed by 3 components: a socio-philosophical platform, a didactic platform and an ethical development platform. These 3 components are to be administrated in 9 academic modules. Each module containing 24 academic hours (total of 216 hours). 

The Diploma Course duration is 9 months, imparted at the UPEL, in the city of Maracay, State of Aragua, which is geographically located in the middle of Venezuela.

The modules related to Practicum fieldwork, are to take place during the academic weeks, within the normal periods of school classes at the Institute’s Adopted Schools, located in the vicinity of the UPEL. 

Practicum

Participants of the Diploma Course are to be assigned to the Adopted Schools, in order to draw their own observations, training periods, evaluation and follow-up programs, under the individual observation of a Tutor, officially established by the Venezuelan Ministry of Education.

The professorial staff has 100% SSEHVP experience, conformed entirely by qualified professionals in Higher Education. Lectures and dissertations from the Sathya Sai Central Council of Venezuela, French Guyana and Cuba office-bearers, are to be given periodically. 

The Diploma Course is to begin next June 23rd, 2003, starting with 25 highly skilled students, after a selection process. Each participant must meet the following requirements: 

1. To be officially graduated as an educator, or studying last term. 
2. To hold a Mental Health certificate. 
3. To be approved by the Selection Commission, after a private interview. 
4. Biodata

A 5 % of the registration has been determined by the Institute to accept professionals, other than educators, such as Sociologists, Psychologists, Social Communicators, Lawyers, etc., involved in the educational field and interested in taking the course to specialize themselves and to accumulate credits for better economical gains. The Diploma Course degree is worth IX (nine) credits.
